Uninstall the app
There is no separate Cited account to close. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify or Wix admin is the deletion request.
What happens next
On Shopify, Shopify sends us a deletion notice shortly after you uninstall, and we erase everything we hold about your shop: tracked questions, scans and answers, competitors, locations, reviews, scores, alerts, digest settings and connected-account tokens. This usually happens within a couple of days and always within 30.
On Wix, your site’s data is deleted within 30 days of uninstalling. If you want it gone sooner, email us and we will do it by hand.
Customer data
Cited stores no customer personal data, orders or checkout data, so there is nothing of your customers' to delete or export.
