the first 24 hours decides the next 30

Your listing's first 24 hours decide what happens for the next month.

Vinted gives new listings a freshness window — they push it into more feeds in the first roughly 24 hours after publish. After that, you're competing on the algorithm fields and the bump button. Two things follow from that.

One: don't publish a listing at 2pm on a Tuesday when nobody's browsing. Publish Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon — that's when the buyer base is actually scrolling. Two: don't publish a half-finished listing 'and fix it later'.

Edits don't reset the freshness clock. The version that's live in hour one is the version the algorithm tests. Get it right before you tap publish.

VintSnap's job is making 'right first time' the easy option, not the careful one.

every listing is read by two completely different audiences — most sellers write for one and lose the other
